Welcome to the Scottsdale Resort and Athletic Club

When my father, O.C. Hing (pictured at right), came to Phoenix in 1912 at the age of 18, he dreamed of building a legacy for his future family in this desert environment. He did well. He and my mother, Helen raised ten children, who distinguished themselves in education, law, and business.

I am proud to say that I have helped to expand on that legacy. When my wife, Alice and I built our first club, the Scottsdale Racquet Club in 1971, it was the first tennis club in Scottsdale. All seven of our children worked at the club and learned the basics of customer service.

The Scottsdale Resort and Athletic Club continues to be family-owned and operated. We are dedicated to providing our guests with comfortable yet deluxe accommodations in a casual, friendly and relaxed environment.
