Laura Madden

Laura MaddenLaura Madden was born and raised in Boston, MA. She earned a B.S. in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire, and holds certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Kickboxing, Yogafit, Body Pump, Water Fitness, has her 500 hour certification with Yoga Alliance and Pre/Post Natal Yoga. She has experience teaching and training in fitness facilities, homes and the outdoors. Laura has developed exercise programs for pre-teen girls, was a fitness consultant for Women’s Health & Fitness Magazine advisory board, often as a featured guest trainer, and also worked as a fitness model. Dedicated to fitness & health for most of her life, Laura looks forward to helping others reach their personal gains through exercise and lifestyle.

Lynn Staub

Lynn has her Personal Training Certification and Primary Fitness Instructor Certification is from AFAA. She also holds certifications from Yogafit, Silver Sneakers and Johnny G Spinning and has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years. Besides Personal Training, Lynn teaches Muscle Conditioning, Fitness Fusion, Yoga, Pilates and Water Aerobics. She believes that teaching and training many formats keeps her Personal Training Sessions fresh. Lynn continues her education in the fitness industry by attending worldwide fitness conventions each year where she brings back the latest in health and fitness to her clients and classes.

Lynn has taught in both the corporate and private sector along with mentoring new instructors to the industry. She is also a fitness consultant for BrainSavers, a company who specializes in developing healthy lifestyles in the prevention of Alzheimer’s. Lynn is passionate about fitness and appreciates having a job she enjoys. Her goal in fitness is to inspire and help others.

Brian Bennetti, NSCA - C.S.C.S

Brian BennettiA Long Island, New York native, Brian received his B.S in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science from The University of Arizona. A collegiate ACHA Division 1 hockey player with The University of Arizona “Icecats”, Brian was also a student athletic trainer and student strength and conditioning coach for the Wildcats. Along with his B.S, Brian holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the N.S.C.A and is a licensed K-12 Physical Education Teacher in both Arizona and Colorado. In addition, Brian has a Physical Therapy Out-Patient Clinical background along with working with post–operation. patients. Brian specializes in Sports Specific Training, Tennis Footwork & Lateral Movement, General Nutrition, Weight Management, Post–Operation Injury Rehabilitation, Youth/Teen Training, Abdominal and Core Training. Brian enjoys playing golf, tennis and hockey on his free time.

Brian Fenrich, Performance Enhancement Specialist

Brian received his training as a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is currently certified through Expert Rating Global. After coming to Phoenix in January 1995, Brian began working as a Personal Trainer at Bally’s Total Fitness. In June of 2000, he joined Scottsdale Athletic Club as the Director of Personal Training for 3 years. He specializes in sports performance, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and therapy for extensive soft tissue work. His clients have benefited from his in-depth understanding of functional anatomy. He has extensive experience in the kinetic chain/postural assessment, functional biomechanics, motor learning, core stabilization, reactive-neuromuscular efficiency and functional strength. Brian has been a guest host on a Sports Medicine Radio Program where he interviewed top specialists on various topics relating to preventative care and injury rehabilitation.

Tammy Belt

Tammy Belt attended Eastern Kentucky University were she received her Associate Degree of Nursing in 1980. Her experience as a registered nurse includes four years of labor and delivery and ten years in outpatient surgery. Responsibilities ranged from admissions to operating room assistant to recovery room duties.

When Tammy and her family moved to Arizona in 1994 for her husband’s job, Tammy decided to leave the hospital setting and stay at home with her two young daughters. Once her daughters were in middle school, Tammy decided she was ready to re-enter the work force on a part time basis.

A friend suggested she utilize her nursing background and work in the fitness industry. Having been active and in gyms all of her life, Tammy decided to pursue this.

In 2003 Tammy earned her personal training certification from AFAA. Wanting to gain experience and knowledge, Tammy first taught Group Fitness Classes, later specializing in one-on-one training. Combining her science background and recent training, she loves inspiring and educating people to achieve their active lifestyle goals.

Maria Patti, Pilates Personal Trainer

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Maria moved to the valley in 1992. She is an award winning actress, a screen and play writer plus stand-up comedienne. Maria uses her comedic talents in her fitness classes. She holds certifications from The Physical Mind Institute in Mat and Advanced Mat Pilates, Advanced Reformer Equipment & Standing Pilates. She is AFFA Group Fitness and APEX Personal Training certified.  After all… ”laughter is the best way to get people in shape!”

Joan Kramer, Pilates Personal Trainer

Joan Kramer has worked in the fitness industry since 1983, instructing various group classes, training private clients, and managing fellow staff members. She developed her love for movement throughout her life time beginning with ballet at age 7, continuing with competitive skating, and into her fitness career. She understands the value of proper biomechanics as it applies to physical activity during sports as well as functional life activities. Her many credentials include a minor in Physical Education, ACE Certification, Core Dynamics Pilates Certification, and Dancing through Pregnancy Certification. She also maintains CPR and First Aid Certifications.
